This is the first time my colorblind husband was able to see normal. He has the red-green color blindness, and can only see certain shades, green not being a shade he can see. Needless to say, he was overwhelmed when he was able to see green after putting them on. Wearing them out in public and in stores still hasnt gotten old. He says he can see things and it looks more vivid and colorful. These are amazing.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He has a severe red/green color blindness. I went with this beans because I was hesitant about the hype from videos I see posted ok YouTube. The glasses make a huge difference. He has been saying things like "Whoa, I had no idea things were this bright!" He said he can tell the biggest difference outdoors, and now calls trees with fall red leaves "freaks of nature" (LOL). He had no idea there were red roses in the bushes and is seeing how everything"emergency related" (ER at the hospital for instance) is red, and understanding why it makes sense for it to be red (it stands out to people with normal vision).

So do these correct his color blindness completely? No. We did a lot of tests without the glasses and it is not perfect. But, it makes a huge difference for me to give 5 stars. It depends on the shade of red and what colors backgrounds, but it really has made a huge enough difference that I've caught him wearing them A LOT!

Christmas present - my brother is partially colorblind in the sense that blues and greens look the same reds oranges and yellows look the same. When my brother put these on he cried. He said he was able to see the different hues shades and colors like he never had before as soon as he put them on. Definitely a great gift for the price. Theyre sun glasses styled and look cool too

I gave these as a Christmas gift to someone who has a significant red/green vision issue. They put them on and looked at the gift box that was red and green, and was shocked to find out the color they thought was a shade of brown, was really a shade of red. It was exciting to see them take in all of the colors around, and see things from a completely different perspective and view than he was used to. Totally worth it, and highly recommend.
